Olga Khabarova / Ольга Хабарова

started singing in 1992 at the St. Peter and Paul Cathedral’s choir (Peterhof, near St.-Petersburg). The Cathedral’s choir was very professional that time. It consisted of St.-Petersburg Capella 's  singers, local Peterhof musicians and students of the St.-Petersburg Conservatory  (~ 40 singers).
Olga had not had any musical education before. However, her position in the choir was approved by the conductor, Mary Andreeva, who considered Olga to be a perspective young soprano singer and advised her to study singing and conducting professionally.

- In 1993 Olga became a student of the St.-Petersburg College of culture , specializing in academic choir conducting and singing.
- From 1997 to 2008, she was a singer of the church choir under conduction of Slava Serdyuk (the Ioann-theologian church and Michael Archangel Church  Moscow region, Troitsk)
- From 1998 to 2000 Olga was a singer and a soloist of the Troitsk chamber choir .
- From the beginning of 2014 she became a leading singer (and, occasionally, a conductor) at the church of "the Holy Image of the Saviour Not Made by Hands​​" in Voronovo (built in the XVIIIth century, Moscow region).
- From 2015 - soprano singer at the central  church of Troitsk, the Trinity Church.

Additional education:

from 2003 to 2006 Olga took a course of academic singing and conducting (supervisor – Ilia Vasherukhttp://www.troitsk-choir.ru/download.php )

from 2006 she took a course of opera singing (the current supervisor is  Natalia Donskaya , soprano, honoured singer of Russia)

Solo Repertoire

includes lyric songs of Russian composers: Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, and others,
as well as arias of Italian composers of 17-19th centuries; Handel, Mozart, Bach, Bizet, Offenbach, Viardot, and others.

In 2005 Olga was a visiting singer and soloist of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Minneapolis senior choir (director - Dr. David Mennicke).
